Kate joined Birds Solicitors in December 2009 to undertake prison law and criminal work. She has therefore added prison law as a disclipline to the practice such that we are now able to offer clients continuing advice through their prison sentence.

Kate qualified as a solicitor in 2007 and is also a duty solicitor. She divides her time between a criminal and prison law practice attending court and prison adjudications as an advocate. She also has experience of appellate work and applications to the CCRC.
